Family Tree Leadership Academy is the fruit of moonshot-dreaming. Danny and Garitha have always been stirred by passionate, life-changing leadership. Their twin boys, Danny and Michau, were intricately responsible for the birthing of this dream. Garitha’s background in Occupational Therapy with a special interest in Sensory Integration, coaching and counselling, together with Danny’s background in business, philosophy and Theology prepared them for this launching pad for future leaders. The key in the pursuit of this dream is nestled in the trusted collaboration with Elana and Bertus Loubser. Together their focus is: making people fly, unleashing potential and becoming world-changers.

Danny is passionate about motorcycling and flying aerobatics and Garitha comes alive whilst worshipping; her best treat: to walk alongside the gushing waves of the sea – dreaming and seeing more horizons to come.

With her background in Speech and Language therapy and further studies in Psychology, Elana Loubser, together with Garitha de Wit, saw the need for a school for young children where the focus is on true whole-child development – laying a strong foundation: spiritual, emotional and physical. Elana is passionate about neuroscience and how children develop and grow into their full God-given potential when parents and teachers come together to create an environment where children can play, socialize and learn through exploration – all within a value-based-community.

Elana is married to Bertus Loubser and lives in Paarl with their two children, Christiaan and Elke.


